Step 3: Integrate Monitoring Into Your Campaign Workflow
Here's the process I now run before every new campaign launch:

The Surprising Insight Nobody Talks About: Domain Blacklisting Is Worse Than IP Blacklisting
Everyone obsesses over IP blacklists. And yes, they matter. But here's what I've learned running high-volume cold email at agency scale: domain blacklisting via Spamhaus DBL is significantly harder to recover from than IP blacklisting.
Why? Because you can swap IPs. You can migrate to a new sending IP in hours if you have proper SMTP rotation set up. While you wait:
- Migrate sends to clean IPs/domains
- Run your full list through email verification before re-engaging
- Check your email content for spam triggers using the Email Spam Word Checker
- Do not increase send volume during recovery โ this is the worst thing you can do
